Ticketing

Tickets are purchased through ticket machines in Japan, or through the website. Despite being able to purchase tickets through the website. It is extremely difficult for someone outside of Japan to purchase tickets without a Japanese address to mail the tickets to.

One of four tickets may be purchased for those attending the Festival.
  • 1) Entrance ticket (w/o tent site) - 18,000 yen (~$180 USD) This allows the ticket holder to enter the festival from opening till closing, but does not give them a tent site. However, this does NOT prevent them from sleeping in a tent. Usually purchased by someone who is with another who is buying a ticket with a tent site.

  • 2) Entrance ticket + HEAVEN'S Tent site - 21,000 yen (~$210 USD) This allows the ticket holder to enter the festival from opening till closing, and a 4x3 meter block to setup a tent in the "HEAVEN'S Tent Site" area. Those who buy this can choose whichever block they want in the tent site area.

  • 3) Entrance ticket + HAPPINESS Tent site - 20,000 yen (~$200 USD) This allows the ticket holder to enter the festival from opening till closing, and a 4x3 meter block to setup a tent in the "HAPPINESS Tent Site" area. Located near the Moon Circus stage. Those who buy this can choose whichever block they want in the tent site area.

  • 4) Entrance ticket + FOREST tent site - 19,000 yen (~$190 USD) This allows the ticket holder to enter the festival from opening till closing, and a 4x6 meter block to setup a tent in the "FOREST Tent Site" area. Located near the Bohemian Garden stage. Unlike the HEAVEN'S and HAPPINESS ticket purchasers, those who purchase the FOREST tent site ticket, have their block assigned to them.

2010

Rising Sun Rock Festival 2010 in EZO's website was launched on January 6th, 2010, the top three acts from the RISING STAR section of the festival from 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 will all take place in a voting contest between March 15th and May 7th, with the results to be in by mid-June. The winner will perform on the Green Oasis stage. Requests for bands are currently open, and the English mirror site will be launched on March 1st, 2010. A twitter page has been launched for the event as well.
