Career

Griffiths played for the first time in the League of Wales in 2001-02 for Cwmbran Town. At the beginning of the following season he moved to Haverfordwest County. In July 2004, Griffiths switch to Carmarthen Town before he signed with Port Talbot Town

 in December. In season 2005-06, he scored 28 league goals for Port Talbot Town, which he top scorer of the Welsh Premier League.

After that season, Griffiths relocated again, this time to his current club Llanelli. For this club, he remained on the assembly line scoring. In 2006-07 season, his first season at Llanelli, he was again league top scorer, this time with 30 goals. In the 2007-08 season he was again league top scorer, this time by 40 goals and his club Llanelli become the Welsh Premier League champion for first time in club history.

Possible Transfers

In December 2006 there was a possible transfer to Wrexham but Griffiths chose to remain semi-pro at Llanelli.
