to businesses primarily throughout North America.

Retail Radio introduced its Internet-based business music player in June 2006, dubbed the "PLUGNPLAY" due to its ease of install. The "PLUGNPLAY" requires an Internet connection (broadband or 3G Aircard) to obtain music and schedules. The "PLUGNPLAY" differentiates itself through an advanced music, messaging and daypart scheduling system known as Global Retail Radio Internet Database (GRRID) which gives the store operators the ability to program their own Radio Station from their Laptop, Work Station and even their Smartphone. The "PLUGNPLAY" is a local aware event based playback device where each location is individually addressable and each location can have a unique schedule, or all locations within a retail chain can be scheduled identically. The GRRID programmed event lists are dynamically interpreted on each "PLUGNPLAY" to generate the resulting stream of audio in the retail environment.

In October 2010 Retail Radio released "PLUGNPLAY" V2 which allowed the "PLUGNPLAY" to become dual zoned. This version allowed customers to have two different stations playing in two different areas from a single unit. It also it allowed for music to be played in the showroom as well as tight looped on-hold message for their stores on-hold phone system.
