This was promised by the Manhattan Beach Unified School District back in 1993 when the dismantling of the south bay unified school district was taking effect, and the High school serving North Redondo Beach (which is where Aviation Park is now located on the corner of Aviation Blvd and Manhattan Beach Blvd) was shut down.
