College History

Redlands College first opened in February 1988 with 91 students in Years 1-8, housed in demountable buildings. The College commenced its permanent building programme in its first year, with facilities for primary

In 2007 the College was divided into three separate yet integrated schools - the Junior School (Prep to Year 5), the Middle School (Years 6–9) and the Senior School (Years 10–12).

Facilities

The facilities are architecturally designed for the Queensland climate. A number of larger facilities are shared by the whole school community, including a modern sports centre, a 25 meter heated indoor swimming pool, three ovals, a large resource library, a number of computer labs and an expressive arts building.
The most recently constructed educational facilities are a 3 story Science Centre and multi-purpose hall.

Student Performance

Redlands College has had multiple OP 1 students for the past 15 years. In the last five years, the average OP has been 9.5 with 85% of students receiving an OP of 1 to 15.
