Rashad Farhad Sadygov (; born June 16, 1982, in Baku) is an Azerbaijani footballer and the national team captain. He plays for the Turkish club side Kocaelispor.
As a result of missing the registration deadline for the Azerbaijani football club side PFC Neftchi, Sadydov is staying fit playing basketball in 2006.
000, Sadygov signed his first professional contract with PFK Turan Tovuz and but played only 9 games.

Career
In 2000, Sadygov signed his first professional contract with PFK Turan Tovuz and but played only 9 games. At that time, he also played for Azerbaijan Under-21 football team.
Neftchi Baku
2001-02
At the end of the 2000/01 season, the defender was transferred to PFC Neftchi.
2002-03
He played for Foolad F.C. in Iran's Premier Football League in 2002.
2003-2004, 2004-05
After his comeback to Neftchi, Rashad won the national championship and cup and succeeded in passing the first qualification round of the Champions League with the black-and-whites. He played 8 games in European cups for Neftchi (2 in UEFA Cup qualifying in 01/02, 2 in UEFA Champions League qualifying 04/05, 4 in UCL qualifying 05/06).
2005-06
He traveled to Turkey to play for Kayserispor in 2005/06. He was loan back to Neftchi in January 2006.
2006-07
He played once at the start of 2006/07 season, but planned to back with Neftchi, again. Sadiqov failed to notice that Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan changed the deadline of transfer window, so he changed to play basketball to keep his fitness.
Kocaelispor
On January 23, 2009, Sadygov joined the Turkish Super Lig club Kocaelispor on six months contract after he was kicked out from PFC Neftchi by the head coach Hans-Jürgen Gede in December 2008. Rashad made his debut for Kocaelispor in their four nil victory over Hacettepe on January 25, 2009.
International
Sadigov scored one goal against Wales in 2006 FIFA World Cup preliminaries, 4 September 2004.
He first call-up in 2002.
Personal life
Rashad began playing football during his school years at Vagif Pashayev-led Youth Football Sports School. He also spent time playing football for the clubs Sharur, the Air Force team, and Real Baku, all of which are based in Baku.
