History

The casino has had four names. It was first named the Resort at Summerlin, then The Regent Las Vegas, then JW Marriott Las Vegas, and in 2002 the resort was called Rampart Casino 'at the Resort at Summerlin'.

On April 22, 2009, the casino became the first in the nation to install an electrical car charging station for players. The system provided by EV Charge America is a subscription service that uses RFID cards for identification.
