Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan is President of the political entity Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan
. He hails from the Dhamawa village of the area of Kas Gumma in Azad Kashmir. He is a highly influential figure in Azad Kashmir politics, and perhaps his biggest political achievement in recent times was coming out on top as he went head to head with the then Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider, in the Azad Kashmir judicial crisis of April 2010. Ultimately, the President managed to came out on top resulting in the removal of the then Chief Justice of Azad Kashmir, Reaz Akhtar Choudhary and the subsequent appointments of Khawaja Shahad as Chief Justice and Mohammad Azam Khan, respectively, as permanent judge of the Supreme Court of Azad Kashmir.
