 came with such kind of typing tools. Quillpad uses machine learning techniques to learn language patterns. Hence it is not the same as dictionary based approaches. It can correctly transliterate even those words that it has not been trained on. Quillpad uses a generic transliteration approach which enables it to be extended to any alphabet based language in the world.

Tachyon Technologies is the company behind Quillpad. It was founded by IIT Madras graduates Ram Prakash H and Sreeram KS in 2000, straight out of college.
