. When interviewed for the club's website Drummond stated that his allegiance to the club stemmed from them being relatively local to where he came from. The name of the club comes from a local poet, David Dunbar who stood for parliament in the General Election
of 1857. In one of his addresses he referred to Dumfries as Queen of the South and this become synonymous with the town. This was the popular choice for the name of the professional football club formed after the end of World War I
in Dumfries in 1919.
The song is the sixth track on The Man and is solely a Drummond composition. The album was released by Alan McGee
