. The club was founded in 1910. Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, although a part of QMUL, have their own boat club: St Bartholomew's and the London Hospitals' Boat Club. The two sides contest the Merger Cup

, in the Docklands. The Regatta Centre hosts international quality facilities, including a gymnasium, rowing tank, and large boathouse.

Club Members

QMULBC caters for male and female rowers of all abilities, from novice to senior. Catering first and fore-mostly for sweep rowers. Student crews race in either eights, or fours (both coxed and coxless). Alumni of the university are eligible to row Drapers Rowing Club. Annually, the students compete against a Drapers invitational crew in the Drapers Challenge Cup.

Club kit

The club's kit is in the university's colours of blue and gold. Formerly the racing kit consisted of blue lycra with gold stripes running down each side. However, to mark the club's centenary year the kit has been changed to a gold upper, with blue lower part.

Club blades are blue, with two gold stripes.
