of Boston, Massachusetts. Taurus initially purchased the majority interest in 2005, and the remaining interest in the winter of 2007.

Owners of property described in the Quechee Lakes Master Plan on file at the Town of Hartford, Vermont are obligated by deed to be dues-paying members of the Quechee Lakes Landowners' Association (QLLA), which owns and operates the community amenities as The Quechee Club. The amenities are:

    • two championship golf courses designed by Geoffrey Cornish and Ted Robinson (current architect Brian Silva);

      13 Har-Tru tennis courts

      a ski hill with a high-speed quad lift

      two pools, one outdoors, one indoors

      the 50 acre man made Lake Pinneo with sandy beach and beach house

      extensive walking and cross-country ski trails

      Village Green area supporting activities such as ballooning and local team sports

      outdoor basketball courts

      Murphy Farm, used for small dining events and large outdoor parties

      a large and well-equipped gym located in the clubhouse

      clubhouse dining facilities capable of supporting 300 seatings

      a community website www.QuecheeClub.com

      community governance by members elected to a board or directors

      professional full time staff



  • Property owned by the developer, approximately 400 potential single family home or condominiums, does not become subject to QLLA membership until sold by Taurus, and consequently the developer has no voice or participation in QLLA governance.
