Qazi Anwar, after his election to the office of the president SCBA, has been controversial for his judgemental remarks on the sub judice cases. He along with Akram Sheikh are considered as front men of Political Judiciary. His criticism of politicians and his alleged criticism of politicians as smugglers out to subvert the judiciary has made him persona non grata in the eyes of general public. Caught smuglling arms during martial regime of Gen Zia Ul Haq and was sentenced. only in Pakistan he could thrive and shine and became predident of scba with the courtesy of the great Hamid Khan of Jallunder.
