TV commercial, but this is not particularly evident in the lyrics which explore his usual themes of love

. The refrain is "Po ching pa po pae, everybody Scatman" for which he is later joined by a Japanese children's choir. The song reached No. 28 in Japan, remained on the charts for 6 weeks and sold 76,000 copies.
There were 3 commercials made, each featuring Scatman dressed in a white suit in the middle of a group of Japanese folk whilst children dance around. The commercials were intercut with Japanese people enjoying the pudding snack. There was a slightly different version of PriPri Scat used on the commercial which wasn't included on the single.
The version of Scatman's World is a completely different version of the song, despite being called the album version. It's a different arrangement and has different lyrics.
