On 26 September 2009, he married Anissa Lehmkuhl, the daughter of Omar and Amina Lehmkuhl (former German citizens converted to Islam faith). They had their first child, Moulay Abdallah, on 17 June 2010. A second child, a daughter, was born on 9 October 2011.
