Launched in 1999, The Production Company, chaired by Jeanne Pratt, produces three musicals each year at The Arts Centre, each running for just six performances after a two week rehearsal period. Biannually since 2002, the company awards the Pratt Prize for Musical Theatre to an unproduced new work; both a cash prize and funding towards a workshop performance.
