. Pleasant Grove High School has the highest API Score in the Elk Grove Unified School District. PGHS mascot is the Eagle, and the colors are navy blue, white, and red. In sports their football team has gone to win their league title three years (2007, 2008, 2009) in a row and made it to the playoffs in all but the first season of the program (2006). They lost in the section title game in 2008, but won the 2010-11 Sac-Joaquin Section
