Plattsmouth's athletics program offers baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, softball, track, volleyball, and wrestling. The boys cross country team won state championships in 1973, 1974, and 1975; the girls cross country team, in 1993, 1994, and 2000. The boys track team won state championships in 1976 and 2008. The wrestling team won a state championship in 1990.
