was released in September 2005. It included several remastered tracks from Iter Facere, as well as five new songs. Before the release of Water Sphere, Micah Dorsey chose to leave the group to pursue other interests.

In early 2005, Pilotdrift supported the Polyphonic Spree on a small series of East and West Coast shows.

In July 2006, Original Electric Recording Company did a limited edition 7" clear vinyl European release of Pilodrift's single "Caught in My Trap."

In December 2006, bassist Jay Budzilowski decided to leave Pilotdrift to pursue full-time broadcast television and a family.

In March 2008, drummer and producer Ben Rice decided to leave Pilotdrift to join the Special Forces of the US Army.

Pilotdrift plans upon releasing their third full length album in 2009.

Since the band's beginning, it has gained popularity all over the United States and parts of Canada and Europe.
