. The station can be used for Interchange between the Bury service and Altrincham and Eccles services. The station is in the City Ticketing Zone.

The station was rebuilt during mid-2009 with a wider platform and a new canopy. It reopened on 2 November 2009.

Services

Piccadilly is served by trams from all three Metrolink lines, Altrincham, Bury and Eccles. Tram run every 12 minutes throughout the day Mondays to Saturdays and also during Sunday daytime to Altrincham, Bury and Eccles, while Sunday evening journeys run every 15 minutes. Trams run up to 15 times an hour to Piccadilly railway station from Piccadilly Gardens.
