Other Co-villages are Ghambir, Rakhala, Charbat, Ropar, Rahi,Chankot, Dakhan Paiser. Most of area is hilly. These mountain are linked with the mountains of murree and margalla hills of Islamabad. Village Phalla and Ghambir are thickly populated area of this Union Council.

History

Abdullah Khan son of Hassan Khan was given the Area of Village Phallah in the early 17th century. Abdullah Khan settled in the Village of Phallah along with some servants from different caste. Abdulah khan basically came from Lora which was main town centre.This village was gifted to him by his father whose great grandfather came from Dana near GhoraGali where his tomb is located. Hakam Khan, Sultan Khan, Raj Khan, Gul Khan were the sons of Abduallah Khan. Now in Village Phalla, 04 chain of Abbasies family are living i.e. Nathial, Sultan-Mohammadi, Gul Mohammadi, Raj Khanian. The Nathial are descended from Natha Khan who was the only son of Hakam Khan. From Sultan Mohammadi tribe Late Sher Jang Khan was very famous for his bravery and Sardar Aslam Khan who was father of Chairman M Afzal and SP Banaras. Subedar(R) Muhammad Arshad ex-councillor, Rifat Ali Abbasi, a Govt Officer and renowned social worker (President, District Coordinating Council Haripur (a district level network of social welfare organizations) and President, United Welfare Society (union councils Phalla, Barkot, Jabri and Bharray)) , Dr. Munir Ahmad Abbasi (PhD in Wirless Communications (few in Pakistan) from Brunel University London) and a Govt Officer belong to this tribe.The famous Khan Allah Dad Khan retired police officer belonged to village chankot and Senior Forest Officer Haider Zaman Khan Abbassi S/O Aziz Khan Abbassi and nephew of Khan Allah Dad Khan was also from Village Chankot, Ex Nazim Izhar hails from Village Rahi, he is son of Late Lambardar Mohammad Zaman,80% of population in Rahi is Nathial and in Village Chankot 80% is Rawaal, The famous persons other than Abbasies tribes are/were Late Mulana Aziz ur Rehman Qureshi, Wing Commander (R) Bashir Ahmad Khokhar, Late Chief Engineer Raheem Bukhs S/O Master Faqeer Muhammad , Zafar Beg, a renowned social worker,Ashfaq Ahmad Deputy Director S/o Qaisar Zaman, Ghalam Fareed Khokhar Account Officer and Zahid Khokhar. Two family members of Abbasies moved to Riala and Rupper village.The famous persons in Riala was Late Captain Abdul Rehman, Late Sardar Yaqoob s/o Capt Abdul Rehman, Late Mohammad Zaib Abbasi(moved from Phallah in 1980), Sardar Masud Abbasi and Chaudray Kala. Lieut (Pak Navy) Saeed ur Rehman Roomi son of Flt lt (Hon) Masood ur Rehman Khokhar is the first pilot and naval engineer of village Phalla. Doctor Jabeen (PhD in Botany)- Daughter of Miraan Bakhsh, Wing Commander Aamir Bashir and Engr Asim Bashir son of Wing Commander (R) Bashir Khokhar, Wing Commander Ishtiaq Raja are other worthy people of this valley. Senior Tech Manzar Ali (Shaheed) embraced shahadat in the C 130 with the former President of Pakistan General Zia ul Haq. Thus this valley is there filled with the warm blood of alives and shaheeds which adds to the greenery of the Hills of our motherland.

Ethnic groups

The Abbasis, Khokhar, Awan, Syed, Gojar/Chaudhary, Kianies and Qureshi are living in this beautiful valley. All families are living side by side with harmony and brotherhood. Students of Phallah used to very famous in surrounding area due to their intelligence. Peoples of Phallah are well educated and are serving as Doctors, Engineers,Deputy Director, Defence forces officer, Lawyers and Accountants.

Location

Phallah Village is a beautiful valley situated on the Lora-Shah Maqsood Road, 6 miles from Lora and 16 miles from Ghoragali (Murree). It is surrounded by two large and beautiful mountains called Muri and Khadan. Entrance to village Lora side is from a beautiful narrow road called Gali. As soon as you enter the valley you will see a range of attractive dwellings houses looks on top of each other like a multistory building. Riala and Rupper are another nice and attractive villages located 2 miles west of Phallah.

The Union Council of Phallah is located in the most south-westerly part of Abbottabad District, to its east Murree is located, West it is bordered by [Haripur District] and to the south it's bordered by Islamabad/Rawalpindi District] of [Punjab (Pakistan)|Punjab province].

Due to its location it is an easily accessible village. Phallah is divided into two parts (rara and para phallah) partitioned by a beautiful stream. An old waterwell is located at the centre of both parts where most of the women used to bring water. Bagalian, Pata, Atarian and Jehlyarian are small Mahallah surrounding phallah but are part of Phallah. There are three big mosques located at rara Phallah, para phallah and Atarian along with small mosques are in small Mahallah. There is an Eid Gaha located centrally where all people pray Eid Namaz and is hub for meeting point. Government Middle School and primary School for boys at Pata, Government Middle School for girls at para Phallah and a Govt Primary School at Atarian.
