 thought Crawford was just the person to do that. In Crawford's first season as a Wildcat, he averaged 16 points, 4 assists and 6 rebounds over 32 games. This was said to be his best season. At the end of the 2004/2005 season, Perth signed Crawford on for another 2 years, after winning the league's Most Improved Player award.

Crawford has been a regular in the Australian Boomers squad since 2003. In 2009 he left the Wildcats to return to the Townsville Crocodiles.
