Pensions Management Institute is a professional organization that provides support, training and advisory for administrators of United Kingdom pension funds. The PMI declares itself as a non-lobby organization but rather one that promotes discussion between government and private sector companies.

PMI has a membership in excess of 5,000 pension-related professionals and trustees. According to PMI, the United Kingdom's pension sector holds an excess of 1 trillion pounds sterling.

The Pensions Management Institute provides access to Special Industry Sectors (SIS) on an up-to-date basis as reference for its members. These include:
  • Accounting
  • Administration
  • Investment
  • Legal
  • Property

Qualifications

PMI provides seven nationally recognized qualifications related to pension fund scheme management.
