 in 1986, scoring one goal in the process. He represented Canada at the U-17 and U-20. He earned 24 youth team caps. He represented Canada at various levels including Olympic qualifying. He played professionally for the North York Rockets, chosen first overall in the 1986 draft. He also played for the Toronto Blizzard and played semi-professionally for the Panhellenic Olympics in the NSL. He was a very successful youth player winning the National championship three times at the club and provincial level. He still holds a number of scoring records.

. He was named First Team All Canadian twice, in 1986 and 1988. He was a member of the CIAU national champions and scored the winning goal in the final against McGill in 1988. He is a member of University of Toronto Sports Hall of Fame.

He coached Sir John A. Macdonald Black Scots to two city championships in Senior Soccer and has coached at the youth club level with Markham Soccer Club and Unionville-Milliken Soccer Club. With UMSC, he coached his team to numerous league and tournament championships and to promotion forward in the Pyramid of Play.

He recently completed his Master's degree in Education winning the Governor General's Academic Gold Medal at Nipissing University (2008/9). He is pursuing doctoral work in Education.

He is currently the Vice-Principal for St. Robert CHS
