but with an articulating LCD panel, 1080i HD video, flash hotshoe, and a Live MOS sensor rather than a CCD sensor found in the FZ40 and the rest of Panasonic's fixed-lens digital cameras. Apart from the LCD panel, it has a digital viewfinder that allows a SLR-like but digital view of the image that help view the frame in bright light conditions with lower battery power usage.
