Admissions

Partially due to its high NYC standardized test scores, PS 321 has become a very popular school. It has become overcrowded, and in most cases will not admit students from outside its zoned area.

PTA

One reason the school has become so successful is because of its active parent-teacher association. It hosts bi-annual potluck dinners, as well a yearly carnivals and crafts fairs, which benefit a wide range of student programs, inculuding art, music and technology classes.

Campus and location

The school is situated on a large plot of land roughly half a city block in size. It resides at the address of 180 Seventh Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, 11215. However, it also borders on both 1st and 2nd Streets. On Seventh Avenue, the school has a small play space, with a jungle gym, used by the lower grades. Behind this is the large, 3-story school building. Behind the school is a large, open asphalt play yard, with a jungle gym in back. This large back yard contains a 1-story portable building which houses several classes.
