Built in 1963, Outer Drive East is the oldest and most established building in the neighborhood. It was converted from apartments to condominiums in 1973. The building contains many assets such as a domed pool, a private bus which ferries residents around Chicago, and a recently remodeled restaurant on the seventh floor.
The building has a number of businesses including the Lakefront Children's Academy and a Segway
