The show consists of the children learning the skills to become jackaroo

s and jillaroos in an effort to be able to participate in a final muster of 200 head of cattle of hectares of land. The skills they learnt included horse riding, sheep shearing, pregnancy testing of cattle, bush survival skills, camping and mustering skills.

They would have learnt many leadership skills and the skills of working with cattle and sheep. With these skills they have become jackeroos and jillaroos.
