The tower's base is structured into a five-story glass garden atrium. It also houses a fitness center on the top two floors of the contiguous parking structure, and a 450-seat conference center named the Forum Conference Center.

When the tower was constructed, there was a ramp leading to the underground Erieview parking garage. The developer decided to make it a pathway connecting Erieview Tower to One Cleveland Center.

In 2009, the plaza and landscaping of One Cleveland Center is going to renovated. On 8/25/2009, construction crews were demolishing the original 1983 designed plaza. In addition to the outdoor plaza, the 1983 lobby will also be renovated with new flooring, a new canopy entrance, new couches, and LCD display televisions and a news ticker in the lobby. Westlake Reed and Leskosky is main architect for the renovation of the lobby. It should be completed before the Cleveland Winter sets in.
