On the Horizon
Encyclopedia
"On the Horizon" was the second single to be released from Melanie C's second album "Reason". After the poor chart position of "Here It Comes Again", and "Reason" falling down the chart quickly, fans and critics alike were looking to see this single be a success. Unfortunately, things couldn't get much worse. "On The Horizon" was poorly promoted, but had no real competition apart from Evanescence. Released on 2 June 2003, "On The Horizon" reached #14 in the UK chart, selling 8,000 copies in its first week. The song did virtually nothing for "Reason", which just managed to rise into the UK Top 100. "On The Horizon" went on to sell 22,030 copies.
