Oman Refinery Company

Established as a limited liability company in 1982, Oman Refinery Company was commissioned with a refining capacity of 50000 oilbbl/d to cater for the Oman’s local strategic demand of refined products. The Refinery produced 85000 oilbbl/d after modifications that took place in 1987 and 2001. A Revamp project in 2007 brought up its capacity to 106000 oilbbl/d. A merger with Sohar Refinery Company was finalised in 2007. The new, merged company is called Oman Refineries and Petrochemical Company (ORPC).
