O-Town is an American boy band formed from the first season of the MTV-produced reality television series Making The Band in 2000. , following after the success of their triple-platinum self-titled debut album. The band was on the verge of obscurity, due to the public's taste of music changing. The album became a commercial flop. It peaked at #28 on the The Billboard 200; the debut single "These Are the Days" reached #64 and failed to match the success of "Liquid Dreams" or "All or Nothing". The single "I Showed Her" failed to chart anywhere. Despite the tour and promotions for the album, it reached Gold
RIAA certification
In the United States, the Recording Industry Association of America awards certification based on the number of albums and singles sold through retail and other ancillary markets. Other countries have similar awards...

 status and worldwide sales were a .5 million away from the 3 million self-titled album. However, this album showed more input from the band, as they co-wrote six of the songs. They soon disbanded the next year.
