Background

Notre Dame Academy was first established in 1874 as a Catholic grade school. In 1906, a high school program was created and added to the existing school where Sister Mary Agnetis served as principal for forty years. Started and run by the Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Academy has earned an excellent reputation for academics and athletics as well as encouraging faith. First located in downtown Covington
