  • The Northwest Division is formed as a result of RHI expansion and realignment
  • The Calgary Rad'z, Portland Rage, and Vancouver Voodoo came from the King Division
  • The Connecticut Coasters, who came from the Murphy Division, moved to Sacramento, California and became the Sacramento River Rats
  • The Edmonton Sled Dogs, and Phoenix Cobras were added as expansion teams

Changes from the 1994 season

  • The Calgary Rad'z, and Portland Rage folded
  • The Edmonton Sled Dogs, who moved to Atlantic Division, relocated to Orlando, Florida and became the Orlando Rollergators
  • The Phoenix Cobras moved to the Pacific Division
  • The Oakland Skates, and San Jose Rhinos came from the Pacific Division
