2008 Performances

In 2008, the NSRFC's Premier side finished second after losing to traditional rivals Takapuna RFC at North Harbour stadium in the Premier Final. They finished the regular season on the top of the table, led by seasoned captain Luke Dodderel and anchored by the prolific kicking talent of Ben Botica, and an all-English front row.

The NSRFC's reserves and under 19s capped off successful seasons by winning their respective North Harbour championships. The reserves were led by their number 8, captain Ben Barker. The 19s had a number of young talent, including leading try scorer Alex Hodgson and Captain Tama Whatuira. The under 21 side reached the semifinals but lost to Massey in a close encounter.
