City government

Nicoma Park has a Mayor-Council form of government. The mayor is elected like other city officials but fulfills both the role of overseeing the city council meetings and running the day-to-day affairs of the city's administration. The current mayor of the city is Robert Pittman. His term expires May 1, 2013.
The city council consists of six ward council members. Ward 1 is represented by Casey Smith whose term expires on May 1, 2009. Ward 2 is represented by Kevin Loudermilk, whose term expires May 1, 2008. Ward 3 is represented by Theron Franks whose term expires on May 1, 2009. Ward 4 is represented by Robert Pittman whose term expires May 1, 2008. Ward 5 is represented by John Dengler whose term expires May 1, 2009. Ward 6 is represented by Gregory Tirey whose term expires May 1, 2008.
