The High School was returned to Newton as for the 2007-2008 School Term .For every school term since 1980 the High School Students traveled from Newton to Camilla for high school formerly Mitchell-Baker High School. The old Building which now used for Baker County Headstart Center (Formerly Baker-Mitchell Headstart Center.In 2001 when Headstart Students from Camilla is got its own Center). The new Gym for Baker County Schools Will be complete in 2009.
