. It is the only high school in the New Philadelphia City Schools district. Its mascot is the Quakers.

History

On March 4, 1990, arsonists set the high school library ablaze. The fire gutted several rooms causing the high school and junior high to close. Classes resumed two weeks later on a modified schedule as the high school students attended school beginning at 6:30AM at Kent State University

 - Tuscarawas and Buckeye Career Center. The junior high students finished the school year attending classes at local churches. The following year, the high school students attended most classes in modular buildings in a parking lot behind the school. The class of 1996 was the first to graduate from the newly repaired and renovated high school. The perpetrators of the arson were never apprehended, and the case remains open.
