, the national railroad passenger system. The (Chicago—Port Huron) and (Chicago—Detroit/Pontiac) stop here twice daily in each direction. The station is also in close proximity to the New Buffalo Railroad Museum.

Of the 22 Michigan stations served by Amtrak, New Buffalo was the 18th-busiest in FY2010, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 25 passengers daily.

History

alignment. This station was located approximately seven blocks south of the current station. When the current station opened the Pere Marquette stopped serving New Buffalo, although the trains still pass through town.
