Netpulse was originally founded in 1994 as Transcape by Michael Cohen, Kevin Martin, & Jeff Cahn. Transcape provided entertainment content on CDs. Eventually Netpulse became an internet company and Netpulse grew quickly during the doc-com period. and subsequently went bankrupt in 2000. The assets of Netpulse were purchased by Thomas Proulx, who was previously the CEO of the company.
