Company History

Shaun Neff founded Neff Headwear while going to college at Brigham Young University

 in Utah in the winter of 2002. The first products were hand-knit beanies tagged with Neff and were first sold to Milo Snow & Skate, an action sports shop in Utah. Neff has now expanded to a full snow, skate, surf accessories company, sold worldwide and becoming a key leader in beanies sales.

In August 2011, the company was featured on Forbes as "The Cool Factor Business Model," where Neff was quoted saying "We were the only headwear company in the game!" which has helped them find success being the first to market. In 2010, Shaun Neff was featured in Sony Vaio's "Make.Believe" advertising campaign along with other young entrepreneurs. In addition the company has received various media spotlights from Teen Vogue
