Nantucket Public Schools

Nantucket Public School System controls the only public schools on Nantucket Island. Other than NPS (Nantucket Public Schools) there are two private schools: the Nantucket New School for kids grades kindergarten-eight, and Nantucket Lighthouse School for preschool through fifth grade.
