Nandu Bhende,Singer/ Voice over Artiste/ Voice trainer/ Director of InSync Studios Pvt. Ltd, is considered to be one of the pioneers of Rock Music in Mumbai. Son of the famous Marathi actor-director Atmaram Bhende and Dr Asha Bhende (Lily Ezekiel), the performing Arts has been Nandu's calling since his childhood when he performed for All India Radio with his sister, Purnima.

Lead singer of legendary bands of the 70s like Velvette Fogg, Savage Encounter, Atomic Forest, he went on to perform the roles of Judas in Alyque Padamsee production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Later he also played the role of Jesus in the Bangalore version of the same opera. The lead roles in famous Rock musicals like Tommy, Fantastiks, Jaya followed. The eighties saw Nandu’s debut as a playback singer in Bollywood with the film “Disco Dancer” for which he received a Gold Disc. ‘The song -Krishna Dharti pe aja tu. He was also selected to perform for the Festival of India in USSR, Muscat & Korea.
Today, Nandu is the founder director of Voice, Music & Film production house, InSync Studios which has its own Recording studio. He performs with his band occasionally & he also conducts Voice training workshops for Singers, Actors, Voiceover artists & Marketing professionals.
