Dancing career

Nana Miki started her career as a ballet dancer in Japan, traveling internationally. She moved to the United States in 2003 and graduated in modern dance under merit scholarship at the Merce Cunningham

Choreography

After graduating from Osaka University of the Arts (B.A in Performing Arts, 1999), she began teaching and choreographing. She created a solo piece for echO in collaboration with Simple production in 2006. She is known for collaborating with photographers on dance photo-shoots. She is part of an art and science project for NYC audiences about water ecology, greenwashing and consumerism.
