DFW Nonstop follows the model of New York Nonstop, which features live news and public affairs programming, lifestyle shows (such as LXTV, Open House, etc.), rebroadcasts of NBC News content, entertainment news, and possible other various programs.

After several months of delays, DFW Nonstop began transmission on May 4, 2011.
