Carla then confronts Janitor about this and states that if he really loved her, he'll tell her the truth about who he is. Although Dr. Kelso butts in and says that lying is the natural form of communication between men and women. Janitor later meets up with Lady and admits that she should know about the real him. In the middle of explaining some of his qualities and hobbies, that which include his love of stuffing animals ("usually with other animals"), Carla sees that Lady is starting to feel really uncomfortable and interrupts by saying, "Stop it you! She doesn't know you're joking." With that, Lady sighs with relief and Dr. Kelso, who was watching the whole time, says, "And so the lying begins." Carla then explains that it's better to let out his craziness bit by bit. At the end of the episode, Janitor takes out one of his stuffed squirrels to see what Lady thinks of it. But when she exclaims, "That is disgusting!," Janitor nervously recedes to say, "I think so too, I just wanted to see if we were on the same page."

Continuity

Dr. Kelso mentions that his wife still thinks it is winter because he sprays shaving cream on the windows to keep her from ruining the lawn with her wheelchair. However, in an earlier episode, Dr. Kelso stated his wife was blind, and would therefore be unable to see the shaving cream on the window.

In this episode JD says he has never won anything, but in the episode "My Fishbowl" he says he won a watermelon seed spitting contest at his theater camp.
