. It includes the Genesis tree, the seventh largest tree in the world and the famous "Adam" tree which also is in the top 20 giant sequoias. The Mountain Home grove is one of the best groves for seeing big giant sequoias.

  • Methuselah: The 28th largest tree in the world. Large sequoia with a broken top and large diameter at base.
  • Hercules: Jesse Hoskings cut a 12 by 12 by 12 foot room out of this tree for shelter. The room is still open for people to walk in year round. The tree has been struck by lightning so it isn't very tall and its top half has a huge burn scar.
  • Great Bonsai: "This is one of the greatest sequoia sights to be seen anywhere" (quote from Wendell's book). This short tree has many large limbs and is situated by a pile of boulders.
