In 2009 the Nine Network announced that the program would be extended for another 30 minutes. This was due to the axing of lifestyle cooking program Fresh which occupied the original timeslot. The show will now air from 9.00am to 11.30am followed by the morning news.

The Morning Show (TV program)

The Morning Show is a high rating Australian morning talk show that premiered on the Seven Network on 18 June 2007. The show airs between 9am and 11.30am weekdays and follows its predecessor and spin-off breakfast news program, Sunrise , both closely interlinked....
 which began in June 2007. This meant that all three commercial stations from 9:00 am to 11:00 am now air their own morning show.

The program covers a variety of issues and features interviews, music, lifestyle and societal commentary. Jamie Malcolm often appears on the show, presenting some of the infotainments and being a sidekick to Kennerly. Jamie is also the regular fill-in presenter whenever Kerri-Anne is away.
