Morebath station was east of the junction of the Devon and Somerset and the Exe Valley lines; in 1928, a small halt station, Morebath Junction

, was opened at the junction and served by trains on both lines. Morebath Junction was much nearer to Morebath village, but had no road or footpath access.

Morebath station had a loop line on the mostly single track railway. This was taken out in 1963 and the line as a whole closed to passenger services in 1966. The buildings survive in residential use.
