. Previously known simply as Moose or Moose Miller, the comic strip was started in 1965 as a creation of Bob Weber Sr., and is still running as of 2011.

The titular character, Moose, is a caricaturedly and stereotypically lazy, unemployed, fat middle-class American, who can never seem to hold a job. He loves pizza and television, and is constantly struggling to find work, or to simply get off the couch, all the while being nagged by both his wife and his mother-in-law. The creator based many of Moose's adventures on the experience of his own family, and this down-home sense of family humor has been a mainstay of the strip since its inception.
